Lost everything

So my son starts the game up a few weeks ago and all progress was reset. Maybe an auto update? Its having him start from a brand new Optimus with training on how to play the game. What the hell? He finally unlocked all transformers plus a few bonus ones and now it was all for nothing? Ridiculous! You need to make more options to save. My son is too young for Facebook!!!
